About The Tripartite Alliance Award

The Tripartite Alliance Award (TAA) recognises exemplary organisations that have effectively implemented fair, responsible and progressive employment practices. The TAA presents an invaluable opportunity for employers to be recognised as one of the best organisations to work for in Singapore.

The TAA, conferred by the tripartite partners (namely Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF)) celebrates organisations who excel in building fair and progressive workplaces and keep employees at the heart of their progress. Progressive employment practices are HR strategies, policies, programmes and practices that create and sustain an inclusive workplace. We recognise that when employees find fulfilment in meaningful jobs and quality workplaces, they will also contribute more effectively to business results.

The TAA is managed by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) on behalf of the tripartite partners.

The TAA has 4 categories, namely,

FAIR AND PROGRESSIVE EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES

WORK-LIFE EXCELLENCE

AGE INCLUSIVE PRACTICES

RESPONSIBLE BEST SOURCING

Organisations can also nominate individuals for the Leadership and/or Workplace Advocate Awards in each of the categories.

The TAA is open to all Singapore-based organisations who have adopted the required Tripartite Standards1 as well as completed the Fair & Progressive Employment Index (FPE Index)2.

To get started, employers can request the award application forms by emailing TAFEP at [email protected].

We would like to encourage employees whose organisations have good practices and have benefited from such practices to inform and invite your employers to participate in this Award.

Participating organisations will undergo a rigorous assessment process and will be assessed by an independent judging panel comprising representatives from the tripartite partner agencies, academics and industry experts.

Award assessors will visit shortlisted organisations to conduct Employee Opinion Surveys, employee focus groups and interviews with HR and the management, etc. Please refer to the Award Process and FAQs on Site Visits for more details.

1 Please refer to the eligibility criteria for the required Tripartite Standards to adopt for each award category.

2 Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL) and the tripartite partners (MOM, NTUC and SNEF) are not eligible to participate.
